Below you will find pictures of some of the special friends we have lost over the past year.

Cagney - 2004 to 2011

Picture
"Cagney" was a purebred Holland Lop.  In 2010 she lost the use of one of her legs and by the summer of 2011 she was unable to use either one. Add to that a recurring ear infection and we felt it best to end her suffering. We will certainly miss her.

Hot Pete - July 2011

Picture
"Petey" was our solid red Boer buck from Eagle's Nest Boers in Seneca, SC. He had the BEST personality. Sadly we lost him to an infection which could have been easily prevented with a simple vaccine. We are beyond heartbroken.
"Petey" surprised us by breeding our doe "Izzy" and had his first and only offspring June 2011. Like a proud father, he would chase little "T-Roy" up and down the fence line kicking his heels and having the time of his life! We miss you buddy!

Olive - June 2011

Picture
"Olive" was our solid black Boer nanny. She suffered heat stroke and although she showed signs of recovery still didn't make it.

Cledus - March 2011

Picture
"Cledus" was the only survivor of our first set of triplets. He was our first ever bottle baby. He died suddenly at 1 yr old.

Piggy and Miss Piggy - February 2011

Picture
"Piggy" and "Miss Piggy" were raised for pork. We gave them the best life possible because we knew it would be a short one. This was our first attempt at raising our own live food.
Piggies - we thank you!
