Below are some answers to our most frequently asked questions:
Do you have goats for sale? *Any goats we have for sale are listed on our FOR SALE page. If the goat(s) are not on the for sale page then they are NOT for sale.
Are prices negotiable? *Yes and no - we list our goats at their "value" in terms of their quality. A lesser quality goat will sell for less "value" unless otherwise noted in the description section. Sometimes we need cash and so a good goat sells for less because well...we need the cash! We are also open to reasonable offers but remember this is our business and we have to make good business decisions.
If I choose to not purchase registration papers and/or applications can I get them later? *Absolutely! For a fee we will sell the rights to the paperwork of that goat even if you did not buy the goat from us originally.
Will you send more pictures/videos of goats you have for sale? *No. Any pictures listed are current and while I do my best to get the goats at their "best" they don't always cooperate. If a goat catches your eye the best thing you can do is come by, put your hands on them, chat about goat life with us, share some laughs, and hopefully buy a goat!
Do we test our herd? *No. If you want a test performed I will happily oblige at your cost up front. This will not be refunded if you decide to not purchase the goat.
What happens if we buy a goat from you and it dies? *Unfortunately nothing. Once a goat leaves the farm I have no way of controlling any variables that are beyond my control. This is something I understand as a buyer myself. However I am always on hand for questions or suggestions to help because I do care!
How much do your goats cost? *Generally our goats will start around $200 and go up from there.
Are deposits required to purchase goats? *No UNLESS you want the goat held for you - copies of our sales agreements are given at time of deposit.
Do you sell goats/rabbits for butcher/meat? *Yes when we have them available. However goats and rabbits are sold live only at this time and must be butchered elsewhere as we are not set up for that here.
Do you sell fresh goat milk? *Yes and no - when available the goat's milk is not for human consumption.
Do you sell bottle babies? *Yes when the mom refuses a baby, doesn't produce enough milk, or dies postpartum we will sometimes list the babies for sale. We will NOT remove a baby from its mother to bottle raise "just because".
